Beware of Scams Claiming to Remove Multisig Control — Don’t Get Scammed Again

2026-07-31

Recently, a user whose wallet had been maliciously placed under multisig control trusted a so-called “multisig removal service” and was scammed again. The images below show the conversation between the user and the scammer.

Scammers often pose as “technical experts” or a “multisig support team” on Telegram and other platforms. They claim they can remove multisig control and restore access to the wallet. They then ask users to send TRX or USDT for a so-called “test,” “service fee,” “deposit,” or “multisig removal fee,” and steal the funds.

Please be aware: once a wallet has been maliciously placed under multisig control, there is no paid, technical, or remote method to remove it. Anyone who contacts you and claims they can remove multisig control is a scammer.

Do not send any more funds to them. Never provide your recovery phrase or private key, and do not approve or sign any requests. Stay alert and avoid being scammed again.
